Spicers Retreats & Bavay Distillery come together in a marriage of both tradition and finesse. Four seasons of Gins carefully curated to express cultural and botanical diversity found within Spicers retreats.
SPRING TIME GIN
A vibrant and aromatic gin infused with thoughtfully selected spices of Asia that embody our east meets west retreat. Tamarind is a place of tranquillity and this gin is no exception.
The harmonious balance between floral hibiscus, Szechuan pepper and galangal make for the perfect springtime gin.
Suited for stiffer cocktails such as a martini or sips containing dry vermouth. Perfectly served with very light tonics/ soda or for a little more zest flavourful yuzu soda.
The result - a highly distinctive, soft-textured gin with a wonderfully crisp finish.
SUMMER RAYS GIN
Summer gin being heavily citrus driven. Inspired by Spanish horticulture bringing together Valencia oranges, lemon verbana and olives.
Suited for highaballs and sprits. Perfect served with tonic,
orange and olive leaf.
It’s no coincidence this release coincides with the warmer weather. Light and refreshing, it pairs perfectly with eating an obscene amount of ham.
AUTUMN DRY GIN
Sangoma, named after the Zulu word for healer, this gin hero's the ancient medicinal herb fenugreek grown in Africa. Its rich notes of maple, are supported by the rejuvenating flavour of ginger and sumac, bringing a warm autumn feel to this gin.
Suited for citrus forward cocktails containing lemon. Perfectly served with lighter tonic or soda with lemon/ginger.
The result is a beautifully rich gin.
WINTER GIN
Australian Bush and Country is at the heart of what we do at Hiddenvale. This gin is a celebration of native Australian botanicals grown in our region. Paddock to Bottle. A warming mix of rich native botanicals and spices to curl up around a winter fire with.
This Gin best suited for negronis and paired with sweet vermouth cocktails. While a heavier Indian tonic would be a great pair, soda or a strawberry gum soda.
